Part 1: Java’s Ancient Wonders & Volcanoes (Days 1–4)
Day 1: Arrive in Yogyakarta — The Soul of Java
Fly into Yogyakarta (JOG), Java’s cultural and artistic heart. This vibrant city is the gateway to Borobudur and Prambanan, two of the greatest temple complexes in Southeast Asia. Settle in and explore the city’s famous street-art scene and night market on Jalan Malioboro.

Best Time to Visit: June–September (peak dry season for both Java volcanoes and Komodo). October and May are good shoulder months with fewer crowds.
