Getting There & Getting Around Dubai

Arriving in Dubai

Fly into Dubai International Airport (DXB) – one of the world’s busiest and most connected hubs. Taxis and Careem/Uber are available immediately (AED 60-120 to city centre). Many hotels offer free or affordable transfers. If arriving at Al Maktoum International (DWC), the drive to central Dubai is about 45 minutes.

Getting Around

Dubai is large and spread out. Use Careem or Uber (very reliable and affordable). The Metro (Red and Green lines) is excellent for Downtown, Marina, and Airport. Rent a car for desert trips or Yas Island if you prefer flexibility. Traffic can be heavy during rush hours (7-9 AM and 5-7 PM).

Evening
