Our trip to Brașov was a delightful blend of local charm, unique experiences, and memorable culinary adventures. We stayed at a cozy homestay nestled in the heart of the city, where the warm hospitality of our hosts made us feel right at home. The homestay’s traditional Romanian decor and comfortable amenities provided a perfect base for exploring Brașov.

One of the culinary highlights of our visit was a dinner at a renowned restaurant specializing in Argentinian steak. The restaurant’s ambiance was welcoming, and the steak was a revelation—juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Accompanied by a rich selection of sides and a glass of robust wine, the meal was a memorable departure from Romanian cuisine and showcased the city’s diverse dining scene.

Another highlight of our trip was a visit to a Scottish pub. The pub offered a cozy, relaxed atmosphere with its traditional Scottish decor and an impressive selection of beverages. We enjoyed a few pints while soaking in the pub’s unique character and engaging in lively conversation. It was a fun and unexpected experience, providing a refreshing contrast to the local Romanian dining culture.

During the day, we immersed ourselves in Brașov’s rich history and scenic beauty. We marveled at the stunning Black Church, an imposing Gothic structure that dominates the city’s skyline. Wandering through Council Square, we admired the historical architecture and vibrant atmosphere. The highlight of our sightseeing was a cable car ride up to Tâmpa Mountain, where we were rewarded with panoramic views of Brașov and the surrounding Carpathian Mountains. The hike up the mountain was invigorating, and the vistas from the top were absolutely breathtaking.

Our evenings were spent exploring the charming streets of Brașov, discovering quaint shops and cafes, and enjoying the city’s lively atmosphere. Each moment spent in this enchanting city was filled with new discoveries and delightful experiences.
