Athens to Athens: The Grand Tour of Greece
Three weeks in Greece is not a holiday — it’s a transformation. This grand tour covers the entire country in a figure-8 loop that takes you from the ancient landmarks of the Peloponnese, through the mountain monasteries of the north, out to the iconic Cycladic islands, across to the wild beauty of Crete, and into the green Ionian sea. You will walk where Spartans trained, where oracles spoke, where saints ascended pillars of rock. You’ll swim in water so clear it seems an optical illusion, eat food that redefines what you thought tomatoes and olive oil could taste like, and meet people who embody the Greek concept of philoxenia — love of strangers. Budget: €2,500–3,500 per person.
